As a Soldier you have no words to express how hard it is to leave your family behind knowing how much they will worry about you.
As a spouse you cannot begin to explain the difficulty in saying goodbye and sending the love of your life, the father or mother of your children off to a foreign, dangerous country.
When a loved one returns from deployment the feeling is indescribable. Seeing your childs face light up when they see their father or mother in the Airport. The tears of joy and happiness of finally being able to have that simple hug you have been longing for, for months.
The last thing you think of when getting ready to welcome your loved one home is capturing all this love on film. Most people are so overwhelmed with emotion that the simply forget to point and shoot. Capturing that moment in time forever. A Dad meeting his baby for the first time. The pure happiness on a wife’s face to finally have her husband home, a mothers joy in being reunited with her family, or the single tear of relief of a mother that gets to hold her grown son again.
